4Cycle began in a Mississauga basement, sparked by one too many disappointing experiences trying to resell clothes online. Our founder Peidra-Ann James had listed a formal dress on a popular platform eight months later, it still hadn’t sold. Meanwhile, local consignment stores were either too far or offered shockingly low returns.
Peidra realized she wasn’t alone. Between the endless haggling, lowball offers, poor payouts, and the constant need to relist or renew items, the process was exhausting, especially for busy people with full lives. Friends shared the same frustrations: taking photos, writing listings, and chasing sales just didn’t feel worth it.
That’s when 4Cycle was born. A 100% online Canadian consignment store designed to make secondhand selling simple, sustainable, and actually rewarding.
We are committed to making Canada more sustainable and growing the Canadian Market for a store that pays well for clothes while being transparent about sales to give more power back to our people.
We carefully curate every item to ensure it meets our high standards for quality, style, and durability so shoppers get the best, and sellers stand out.
We ensure a smooth, reliable, and satisfying shopping experience from start to finish.
We extend each garment’s life, cut waste, and are actively exploring ways to recycle used clothes back into thread for future production.
In April 2025, Driven by a passion for sustainable fashion and quality resale, 4Cycle was founded in Canada to create a trusted online destination for stylish, high performance secondhand clothing.
The journey to build 4Cycle’s online store involved testing over six different platforms and tools to ensure the site delivered the smooth, user-friendly experience our community deserves.
By mid-July, 4Cycle’s seller portal was fully integrated, allowing seamless onboarding and welcoming over 20 sellers to the platform.
Summer 2025 4Cycle officially launched in the Greater Toronto Area, offering weekly Thursday pick-ups and convenient deliveries across the region.
We believe in better: better clothes, better service, and a better future.
Our mission is rooted in sustainability and community and we’re building a platform for people who care about both.
Join us. Let’s change how the world shops, one cycle at a time.
